If you are looking for a hotel in Guatapé, the first decision is where to sleep: in town, near El Peñol rock or on the water. Atma Villas sits on a peninsula over the reservoir, 15 minutes by boat from Marina Navegar and 10 minutes by car from town. Instead of a building with rooms, it is 17 private villas spread between the forest and the shore, each with its own jacuzzi and terrace.
Every stay includes brunch, an Atma welcome cocktail and the boat transfer from the marina; four family villas are reached by road. On the peninsula there is a restaurant serving Colombian and Mexican food, a dock, jet skis, paddleboards and pontoon rides, and morning wellness activities on weekdays.

For two (the safari villas take up to three): safari tents in the forest, bamboo villas over the water and the two Atma Jewels palaces, the favourites for anniversaries and honeymoons.

There are three areas: the town, to walk everywhere; the road to the rock, to climb it early; and the reservoir shore, to wake up facing the water in privacy. Atma sits on a peninsula over the reservoir, 15 minutes by boat from Marina Navegar and 10 minutes by car from town.
All 17 Atma villas have a private jacuzzi: safari tents and treehouses for couples, bamboo palaces facing El Peñol rock and two- and three-bedroom family villas.
Every villa includes brunch, an Atma welcome cocktail, the boat transfer from Marina Navegar and use of the dock and common areas.
From Medellín it takes about 1.5 hours by car on the Medellín–Bogotá highway to the El Peñol and Guatapé turnoff. You leave your car at Marina Navegar on the Peñol–Guatapé road and our boat brings you to Atma. Departures from the marina at 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 5:00 pm; return from Atma at 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Arriving outside those hours? Message us on WhatsApp to arrange it.
It depends on the trip. To walk to the waterfront and the zócalos, stay in town; to climb El Peñol rock early, stay on the road to the rock. If you want privacy, your own jacuzzi and to wake up facing the water, choose a villa on the reservoir like Atma's, 15 minutes by boat from Marina Navegar.
Each villa's rate is for two guests. Children aged 0 to 3 stay free. Ages 4 to 11 are COP 100,000 per night and ages 12 and over COP 150,000 per night, always within the villa's maximum capacity.
Yes, we are pet friendly. The fee is COP 150,000 per pet per night and includes a bed for your pet.
The rate is non-refundable. Date changes are allowed with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability and possible additional charges. No-shows and early departures are non-refundable. Promotional rates cannot be refunded or changed.
