What is a pontoon (planchón) in Guatapé?
A pontoon, a planchón in Colombia, is a motorised floating platform for cruising the reservoir as a group: you sail slowly among the islands, sunbathe and eat on board. It is the Guatapé plan for birthdays, bachelor parties and friends.
Ours is the Atma Villas luxury pontoon, on a peninsula over the reservoir 15 minutes by boat from Marina Navegar. It has rest areas, a sun deck and a grill: go with or without a barbecue, and we lend you the board to try wakeboarding.

Can I bring a pontoon or a boat from another provider?
Yes. Boats hired from outside providers pay a landing fee of COP 100,000, and other equipment COP 50,000 per item.
