There is no conventional swimming pool: the park's water is the reservoir itself, with areas set up for bathing.

A rule that surprises many visitors: when Monday is a public holiday, the park opens that Monday and closes the following Tuesday. On long weekends, plan the visit for Saturday, Sunday or the holiday Monday.
Prices and tickets
The fee depends on the Comfama membership category (A, B or C) and is higher for non-members. Prices are updated every year and are checked and bought on Comfama's official website, where barbecue areas are also reserved. Visitors from outside Antioquia and from abroad enter as general public. Confirm the day's price before going, especially in high season.
How to get there
The park sits on the road between El Peñol and Guatapé, a few minutes from town and an hour and a half from Medellín on the Medellín–Bogotá highway. By car there is parking. Tips for the visit
- Arrive at opening time. At 9 am the park is empty and the sun is still gentle. At midday on weekends it fills up.
- Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. The water attractions are the heart of the park. Shoes that can get wet help.
- Food. Bring your own for the barbecue areas or buy inside. Reserve a barbecue spot ahead on long weekends.
- With small children, the enchanted village and the Guma maze are made for them; Aguaventura requires swimming ability or a life vest.
